Otelco now offers our customers the option to have all unrequested charges included on Otelco monthly bills for products or services not related to Otelco telephone or long distance services to be blocked. Once blocked, they should not recur on a customer’s monthly bill. These charges are commonly referred to as “Third Party Charges” and are not Otelco charges.
There is no cost to Otelco customers for this blocking and it will be installed on a customer account when requested by a subscriber. If a customer has multiple telephone numbers, a block must be requested on each number. The block will remain on the account until the customer requests its removal in writing.
